Process

Viewing & Booking
Visits are by appointment only on non-function days and not on Sundays. After we checked the availability, you choose your package and pay a non refundable 30% booking fee.

Supplier meeting, Decòr & florals mock-up followed by a delicious Tasting
Meet our very talented suppliers, discuss your visions, preferences, and overall theme. There will also be a menu tasting and mock set-up for dècor and flowers at the next meeting.

Transforming what it means to bring a wedding day to life.
After all the details are confirmed, including timelines, vendor arrangements, last minute adjustments, we can ensure a smooth result for a memorable wedding day.

Signature Cuisine
At Duck Point, every meal is expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Our professional kitchen, led by our skilled chef, is dedicated to creating delicious dishes that perfectly match your taste and the scale of your event.

Bar Service
Clients are requested to provide details of their bar service preferences, whether a Full Bar, Wine and Malt selection, Soft Drink Bar, or Cash Bar. A spending limit can be set for bar accounts, and to ensure transparency, we offer regular account reconciliations throughout the event.

Weekend Weddings
As a Duck Point client, you have the option of booking accommodation and the venue the night before your exclusive wedding or event. There’s no reason why your special weekend shouldn’t start in the best way possible, the possibilities are endless!
Accommodation & Venue hire
Please note that Friday is a separate booking and is not included in the venue hire or per-person package cost for Saturday.

A weekend highlight is, without a doubt, the Friday night barbecue. Be welcomed by the earthy aroma of a crackling boma fire and the mouth-watering scent of our Signature Barbecue, prepared especially for you and your guests.

Although Duck Point does not have an on-site spa, we can arrange treatments with a local spa partner who will provide services right here at Duck Point.

Once you've booked your ideal date, we create a special timeline of the wedding planning process as well as a timeline of your big day.
Availability
First come first serve. We would love to book your ideal date for you. Keep in mind we excusively host one event per weekend.

You are securing our whole estate for your big day and you will working with our carefully selected list of suppliers who are the best in their work ensuring a smooth process.

Do I pay a venue hire fee?
Only if your wedding guest count is less than 80 pax then a venue hire fee of R15000.00 applies.

How much deposit do i have to pay?
A non refundable 30% deposit secures your wedding date.
Do you offer specials out of wedding seasons?
YES! We love how cozy our venue is in the winter, so we offer a 10% Discount on Winter Weddings.
do you have a restaurant?
Although Duck Point does not have a public restaurant, we do have a dedicated Chef on board, that will make your guests remember the mouth watering food afterwards!
